A 17-year-old girl in Delhi’s Begumpur space was brutally killed by his 25-year-old good friend allegedly after paying a go to to her home in Delhi’s in Rohini district. The suspect, who has been recognized as Laik, is on the run after the incident.

Speaking within the matter, Delhi Police stated the 17-year-old lady was allegedly bludgeoned to dying with a hammer by Laik after he visited her home on Friday night.

The sufferer’s kin had gone to fetch some grocery objects from the market on the time of the incident. Later, Laik bolted the door from outdoors earlier than fleeing the spot, police added.

The police stated it obtained a name from the hospital after the lady’s mother and father rushed their daughter to a close-by hospital the place she was declared introduced useless on arrival.

“Both the suspect and the victim’s families were neighbours in Bawana. One year back the girl’s family had shifted to Begumpur. However, the suspect in the case kept visiting the family. We have constituted several teams to arrest Laik,” stated PK Mishra, DCP Rohini.

A homicide case has been registered and additional investigation is on, police added.
