An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Delhi Police allegedly shot himself lifeless together with his service pistol in a PCR van whereas he was on responsibility at Zakhira flyover in west Delhi on Saturday morning, officers mentioned.

The ASI, Tej Pal (55), was connected with the Police Control Room (PCR) unit. He was residing in Rajnagar in Ghaziabad, they mentioned. Police had been knowledgeable in regards to the incident at round 7 am, they mentioned, including no suicide word was recovered from the spot.

The ASI allegedly shot himself within the chest, a senior police officer mentioned. He was rushed to ABG hospital by the PCR van driver the place he was declared introduced lifeless, he mentioned.
