A fireplace broke out on the primary ground of the Akashwani Bhawan on Sansad Marg early Sunday morning, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official stated. No accidents had been reported, he stated.

A name was obtained at round 5.57 am. Eight hearth tenders had been rushed to the spot, stated Atul Garg, Director, DFS.

The flames had been doused, he stated, including that the fireplace began from room quantity 101 and was brought on by some electrical equipment.
