Deaf, mute lady gang-raped in Rajasthan’s Barmer

JAIPUR: A 20-year-old deaf and mute Dalit lady was allegedly raped by 4 to 5 males in Rajasthan’s Barmer district, police mentioned on Friday.

The incident occurred on Thursday night in space underneath Dhorimanna police station limits when the girl had gone to graze goats, mentioned the criticism filed by the members of the family.

The accused males, who had been in a automobile, stopped the girl and allegedly raped her, it mentioned.

A case has been registered towards unidentified males underneath sections of the Indian Penal Code, SHO (Dhorimanna) Sukhram Vishnoi mentioned.
