Maharashtra recorded this 12 months’s highest one-day spike of 16,620 new COVID-19 instances on Sunday, which pushed its general caseload to 23,14,413, whereas 50 deaths pushed the toll to 52,861, the well being division stated. In Mumbai division, Thane metropolis, Kalyan Dombivali, Ulhasnagar, Bhiwandi, Mira Bhayandar, Palghar, Vasai-Virar, Raigad, Panvel didn’t report a single loss of life because of the an infection within the final 24 hours, it stated.
