Covid-19 instances rising, Maharashtra imposes recent restrictions; violators to face hefty fines

Amid a surge in new Covid-19 instances, the Maharashtra authorities Saturday introduced an entire ban on holding of all varieties of gatherings, together with political and spiritual.
In an official order, the federal government introduced that eating places, gardens and malls will stay shut between 8 pm to 7 am starting Saturday evening. People may also not be allowed to go to seashores throughout 8 pm to 7 am, the order added. Drama theatres may also stay shut from Saturday evening.
However, the federal government has exempted supply of meals in evening hours in its new set of tips.

“Gatherings of greater than 5 individuals is not going to be allowed from 8 pm to 7 am efficient from midnight on twenty seventh March. Violation will appeal to penalty of Rs 1,000 per particular person on offenders.
“All public places including gardens and beaches will remain closed during the same period and violators will be fined with Rs 1,000 per person. Not wearing of face mask will attract Rs 500 fine while the same is Rs 1,000 for public spitting,” as per the order.
It mentioned that holding of social, cultural, political and spiritual gatherings within the state is being banned utterly. Auditoriums or drama theatres mustn’t enable their property for use for such occasions, it mentioned.
