Corona figures cross 85 million, 45674 new cases in 24 hours

The number of corona infected patients in the country is seeing a decline in daily cases today. According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of corona infected patients in the country has risen to 85,07,754. The number of active cases in the country has remained below 6 lakh. The total number of active cases is 5,12,665, a decrease of 3,967 in the last 24 hours. 78,68,968 patients have recovered and gone home. In the last 24 hours 49,082 patients have been discharged. The Health Ministry says that the corona virus death rate in India has been steadily decreasing and now the death rate has come down to 1.48%. So far 1,26,121 people have died.

In the last 24 hours, 45,674 new cases have been reported and 559 people have died. According to the report of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 11,77 till date (7 November) of corona virus , 36,791 samples were tested, out of which 11,94,487 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.

On August 7, the number of corona-infected patients in India crossed 20 million. On 23 August the number reached 3 million and on 5 September 4 million corona infected patients. On September 16, the number of corona infected patients in the country had increased to 5 million. 60 lakhs on 28 September. On October 11, this figure crossed 70 lakhs. After this, on October 29, the number of corona infected patients in the country crossed 8 million.
