NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday suspended Congress MP Rajani Ashokrao Patil for the rest of the present Budget Session for filming House proceedings.
Dhankhar, who had earlier within the day indicated that motion could be taken towards those that had filmed a ruckus throughout Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on Thursday, requested leaders of political events to specific their views on the difficulty.
Thereafter, a movement was adopted to droop Patil for the rest of the Budget Session, pending a report from the parliamentary privileges committee on the difficulty.
