There is not any forecast of any main snowfall and the climate is prone to keep primarily dry until January 14, the MeT workplace stated.

Srinagar metropolis — the summer season capital of Jammu and Kashmir — recorded a low of minus 2.6 levels Celsius, up from minus 4 levels Celsius the earlier night time.

Keylong and Kalpa in Himachal Pradesh continued to shiver at sub-zero temperatures, the meteorological division stated.

The tribal Lahaul and Spiti’s administrative centre Keylong was the coldest place within the hill state but once more at minus 8.8 levels Celsius, Shimla MeT centre director Manmohan Singh stated. (With PTI inputs)
