CM Pramod Sawant, Goa BJP President Sadanand Tanavade go away for Delhi for legislative celebration assembly

PANAJI: Goa performing Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state President Sadanand Tanavade on Tuesday left for Delhi for the legislative celebration’s assembly.

Before leaving for the nationwide capital, Goa performing Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday stated that the brand new authorities can be fashioned after the election of the chief of the legislative celebration within the presence of the Central observer of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“Central observer (of the BJP) will come… a discussion will be done, and the leader of the legislative party will be elected and then the formation of the government will take place. I am going to Delhi today,” stated Sawant in Panaji.

The BJP Parliamentary Board has appointed Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar because the central observer for Goa and Union Minister of State for Fisheries and Animal Husbandry L Murugan has been made the co-observer.

On Saturday, Sawant tendered his resignation to Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai at Raj Bhawan in Panaji to pave means for the formation of the brand new authorities after the BJP gained the favored mandate within the state. The BJP emerged as the only largest celebration in Goa, successful 20 seats within the 40-member state Assembly, leaving Congress with 11 seats at a distant second place.

Independent candidates bagged three seats whereas two seats every went to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak (MGP). Revolutionary Goans Party and Goa Forward Party (GFP) bought one seat every.

The BJP, which fell one seat in need of the bulk determine in Goa, is about to retain energy within the state with the assistance of Maharashtrawadi Gomantak (MGP) and unbiased candidates.
