In the Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi district of Chhattisgarh, 100 sacks of paddy, kept in the barn of a farmer’s farm, were burnt down. The flames of the crop were so high that it reached the surrounding houses. However, before the big accident, people put the water under control.

Gokul Sureswar lives with his daughter in the school Tola in village Pakariya, about 10 km from Gorela. He built a barn for missai near the house in Bari itself. About 100 sacks of Vishnu bhog paddy variety were kept in it. On Monday evening, suddenly, seeing the smoke coming out of the paddy’s weed, he made a sound to the people around. All reached the spot, but before that the fire started increasing rapidly.

10 people of the village also own houses near the barn. When flames reached the homes, people tried to extinguish the water by putting two motor pumps. After a while, the people overcame the fire, but all the paddy kept in the barn had burned down. It is being told that the farmer has lost about 1.5 lakh rupees due to paddy burning. In this case, a report has been lodged at the Gorella police station
