Chamarajanagar deaths: Now, Karnataka sends crew of medical doctors for probe

Hours after the Karnataka High Court deputed a fact-finding committee comprising two retired HC judges to look into the 23 deaths in Chamarajanagar district hospital allegedly as a result of oxygen scarcity on May 3, the state authorities despatched a crew of medical doctors to research the tragedy.
The crew of medical doctors that reached Mysuru on Thursday will probably be within the district for 2 days.
The transfer comes after the Chamarajanagar district administration submitted a loss of life audit report during which it said that solely three sufferers died as a result of lack of oxygen on May 3.
