Calcutta University says all upcoming semester exams shall be held offline

KOLKATA: Calcutta University Friday introduced all upcoming semester exams shall be held offline, refusing to buckle to calls for by a piece of agitating undergraduate college students who need on-line assessments which had been the norm throughout the two years when Covid-19 pandemic raged by means of the nation.

“With dip in Covid cases and offline classes having begun, there is no reason why the higher educational institutions should give in to such unfair demands by a section of students,” Bhaduri stated earlier.
