NEW DELHI: The Congress has accused the BJP of attempting to topple its coalition authorities in Jharkhand after three MLAS had been caught allegedly with an enormous amount of money in West Bengal’s Howrah, saying the saffron occasion’s sport plan is to do in Jharkhand what they did in Maharashtra.

Acting on a tip-off, police on Saturday intercepted an SUV wherein Congress MLAs Irfan Ansari, Rajesh Kachchap and Naman Bixal Kongari had been travelling on nationwide highway-16 at Ranihati in Howrah and allegedly discovered an enormous amount of money within the car.

Besides the MLAs, there have been two different individuals within the SUV, which carried a board mentioning “MLA Jamtara Jharkhand” together with the Congress’ election image, police mentioned.

Ansari is the MLA of Jamtara, whereas Kachchap is the legislator of Khijri in Ranchi district and Kongari is the MLA of Kolebira in Simdega district.
