NEW DELHI: The NCERT textbooks have included references to Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta in Class VI and VII and its shlokas in Sanskrit textbooks of courses XI and XII, the Lok Sabha was knowledgeable on Monday.
In a written reply, the Minister of State for Education, Annapurna Devi, stated the ministry had established the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Division in All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in 2020 with a imaginative and prescient to advertise interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary analysis on all points of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), protect and disseminate IKS information for additional analysis and societal purposes.
