At least 30 injured as tanker lorry crashes into over 40 autos at Pune’s Navale bridge

At least 30 individuals had been reportedly injured on Sunday when a tanker lorry crashed into a number of car at Pune’s Navale bridge.

“A major road accident occurred at Navale bridge on the Pune-Bengaluru highway in Pune in which about 48 vehicles got damaged. Rescue teams from the Pune Fire Brigade and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) have reached the spot,” NDTV quoted an official as saying.

The native media studies counsel that the brakes of the tanker failed and it collided into a number of autos. During the accident, which reportedly occurred at 9 pm, oil spilled onto the highway making it slippery which triggered different autos to be added to the pileup.
