Dubey rubbished the allegations. “One Sanjay Yadav, a former Madhupur Nagar Parishad member, which comes under my constituency, was termed as an outsider by Pradeep Yadav and asked to leave when he had a valid ticket. I got angry and asked whether he was a TTE. Then he came towards me, planning to beat me, and this is when the ruckus started.” When instructed that Yadav had said in any other case, Dubey mentioned: “Everything is on video.” This was a reference to a clip of the episode that was shared extensively on social media.

The inauguration occurred on a day the Jharkhand authorities issued a round banning all congregations besides marriage capabilities and final rites in view of rising Covid-19 circumstances.
