Artist taking part in Ravan dies of cardiac arrest throughout Ramlila in Ayodhya

AYODHYA: An artist taking part in the position of ‘Ravan’ in a Ramlila operate in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya district died on stage of cardiac arrest.

This comes a day after a 50-year-old man taking part in the position of ‘Hanuman’ died throughout his efficiency in ‘Lanka Dahan’ episode of Ramlila in Fatehpur district.

The 60-year-old artist, Patiram, was enacting the position of ‘Ravan’ through the episode of ‘Sita Haran’ in Aihar village of Ayodhya when he clutched his chest resulting from ache.

Before anyone might react, he collapsed on stage.

The staging of Ramlila was instantly stopped and Patiram was rushed to a close-by hospital by the members of the Ramlila committee however the medical doctors declared him ‘introduced useless’.

Doctors confirmed cardiac arrest to be the reason for his dying.

Village Head, Puneet Kumar Sahu mentioned that Patiram had been taking part in the position of Ravan for a few years.

He is survived by spouse Devmati, two sons and two daughters, one in all whom is married.

In an identical incident earlier, Ram Swaroop ,50, who was taking part in the position of Hanuman, died after struggling a cardiac arrest throughout his efficiency in Salempur village of Fatehpur district. The video of the incident additionally went viral on social media.
