Apple launches free repair program for iPhone 11 units with touch issues

 Apple announced that it was launching a new Replacement Program for affected iPhone 11 units. iPhone 11 units produced between September 2019 and May 2020 are eligible for this issue, which will address touch screen issues that were troubling iPhone 11 owners.Affected customers can make an appointment at an Apple Store or contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider for the free repair. Apple also offers the option for mail-in service. Apple advises you should backup your iPhone before getting it serviced. Apple also advises if the display is cracked or broken, it should be fixed before the touchscreen can be serviced.If you already paid Apple or an AASP for this issue, you can contact Apple to see if you can be reimbursed for the cost of the repair.
