Aisha Sultana, dealing with sedition expenses in Lakshadweep, strikes Kerala High Court for anticipatory bail

Filmmaker and activist Aisha Sultana on Monday approached the Kerala High Court in search of anticipatory bail within the sedition case filed in opposition to her by the Lakshadweep Police, information company ANI reported.
BJP’s Lakshadweep unit president C Abdul Khader Haji had filed a criticism in opposition to Sultana for calling the Union Territory’s administrator, Praful Ok Patel, a bio-weapon being utilized by the Centre on the island’s folks. The case was registered at Kavaratti police station on June 10, below Sections 124 A (sedition) and 153 B (hate speech) of the IPC.

What else should I call him…”

A local of Lakshadweep’s Chetlat island, Sultana has been within the forefront of the marketing campaign in opposition to the lately proposed laws and controversial reform measures which have triggered widespread anger amongst locals.

However, a number of politicians and activists have spoken in opposition to submitting a sedition case in opposition to the activist.
