Air India’s Delhi-Sydney flight passengers endure ‘minor sprain’ ensuing from turbulence

NEW DELHI: Seven passengers onboard an Air India flight from the nationwide capital to Sydney on Wednesday suffered “minor sprain” ensuing from excessive turbulence, in response to a senior DGCA official.

The official on the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) talked about that no hospitalisation was required.

Air India B787-800 airplane VT-ANY working flight AI-302 from Delhi-Sydney encountered excessive turbulence.

“During the flight, seven passengers reported minor sprain. Cabin crew provided first aid with the assistance of a doctor and a nurse traveling as passengers, using an onboard first aid kit,” the official talked about.

Air India’s airport supervisor in Sydney organized medical assistance on arrival and solely three passengers took the medical assist, the official added.

An announcement from Air India on the incident is awaited.
