After madrasas, UP orders survey of Waqf lands

LUCKNOW:  Amid the continuing surveys of unrecognised madrasas throughout Uttar Pradesh, the state authorities has issued directives to district magistrates and commissioners to re-examine the paperwork of all of the properties registered underneath Waqf since April 7, 1989 and to file the standing of such lands. He mentioned, “Akhilesh Yadav only has the support of the mafia, miscreants and rioters. Muslim community did not get the Waqf properties. They only went to the mafia,” Maurya mentioned.
