9,699 fail in Hindi examination in Uttarakhand; consultants flag concern as school college students battle in private mother tongue

DEHRADUN: As many as 9699 school college students have failed of their Hindi board exams throughout the Uttarakhand High school-Intermediate examination this 12 months. These embody 3263 boys and 1721 girls in High school and 2923 boys and 1792 girls in Intermediate.

According to the Council of Secondary Education 1,26,192 school college students took the examination in Hindi subject in highschool this 12 months, out of which 124208 school college students handed whereas 4984 school college students failed. A 123009 school college students had appeared for the intermediate examination. Of these, 118294 handed and 4715 candidates failed. In highschool and intermediate, 6186 school college students and 3513 girls failed in Hindi.

Of late, school college students look like dropping curiosity in Hindi.
