5 Pakistani soldiers killed by Indian Army for violating cease fire in Mankot sector

Major action has been taken by the Indian Army along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. In this, five Pakistani soldiers were killed and three were injured in retaliation done overnight. This information was received from security sources.

According to the information, Pakistan on Thursday started firing without reason, targeting civilians and their facilities in the Mankot sector of the Line of Control in Poonch district. Sources further said that civilian property was damaged in the indiscriminate firing by the Pakistan Army targeting civilian facilities.

It is reported that retaliation was carried out by the Indian Army after firing from Pakistan, in which five Pakistani soldiers were killed and three were injured. Many of his bunkers have also been destroyed. There was a 2-hour shootout between the two sides.

Significantly, since the beginning of this year, Pakistan has violated the bilateral ceasefire agreement between the two countries several times in the year 1999. Over 3200 ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir since January 2020 have killed 30 civilians and injured more than 100.
