PALGHAR: Nineteen policemen had been injured and 12 of their autos broken after they tried to regulate assault on workers of a metal firm by over 100 members of a labour union right here in Maharashtra, an official stated on Sunday.

The police have thus far arrested 27 individuals in reference to the incident that occurred on Saturday within the firm’s manufacturing unit premises positioned in an industrial space in Boisar city of Palghar district, they stated.
