17-year-old pupil dies by suicide in hostel room in Rajasthan’s Kota

KOTA: A 17-year-old male pupil, who was making ready for the JEE-Mains examination died by suicide in his hostel room in Rajasthan’s Kota, police stated on Monday.

The incident occurred in Kota’s Mahaveer Nagar police station space on Sunday night.

“The boy was a year dropper in JEE-Mains and had not been attending coaching classes for around a month,” stated Sub Inspector Awadhesh Singh.

He stated that on Sunday night when the boy didn’t open the door of his room, the caretaker of the hostel knowledgeable the police.
