16 labourers lifeless after truck overturns in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon; PM condoles incident

Sixteen individuals had been killed after a truck overturned in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, police stated on Monday.
All the deceased had been labourers from Abhoda, Kerhala and Raver within the district, police stated, including they died after their papaya-laden truck overturned shortly after midnight close to a temple at Kingaon village.
Five labourers have sustained severe accidents and are being handled at a rural hospital, police stated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the incident and tweeted: “Heart-wrenching truck accident in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover at the earliest”.
