15-year-old woman kidnapped, gang-raped in automotive in Ranchi

RANCHI: A 15-year-old woman was allegedly kidnapped and raped by 5 males in a automotive in Ranchi, police stated on Friday.

The woman instructed the police that she was compelled into the automotive from the Ring Road in Dhurwa by the accused on Wednesday evening, they stated.

A patrol group of the police discovered the automotive on the roadside close to a restaurant in Daladali in Ratu police station space, Superintendent of Police (Ranchi-Rural) Naushad Alam instructed PTI.

Suspecting one thing was amiss, the personnel went to test the automotive and located the woman, who was crying, together with 5 males, he stated.

The 5 accused, all of their 20s, have been arrested, he stated.

The woman was despatched house after a medical examination, police stated.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, they stated.
