11 killed in Karnataka’s Dharwad: PM Modi saddened by the lack of lives in mishap
1 min read New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the demise of 11 folks in a collision between a minibus and a Tipper close to Itigatti in Dharwad.
PM Narendra Modi took to Twitter and condoled the lack of lives within the mishap. “Saddened by the loss of lives due to a road accident in Karnataka’s Dharwad district. In this sad hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray for a quick recovery of those injured,” PM Modi mentioned in a tweet.

Police mentioned that another folks, who have been injured within the mishap, have been taken to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences hospital. Condition of 5 of the injured individuals is important, police mentioned.
“Seven people, who were injured in a collision between a minibus and a Tipper in Dharwad, admitted to two different hospitals,” information company ANI reported.
According to media stories, the minibus collided with a truck coming from the alternative facet on the Hubli-Dharwad bypass. The mishap befell at about 8 am on Friday.
