A 55-year-old man died and 143 folks, together with ladies, have been hospitalised after allegedly consuming adulterated toddy in neighbouring Vikarabad district, officers stated on Sunday. The villagers have been admitted to numerous hospitals within the district since Friday night time after a few of them fell unconscious and others skilled nausea, vomitted and felt giddy, they stated.

Seventeen amongst them have been handled as outpatients and the situation of the others is steady, officers stated.
