Vanessa Redgrave, Freida Pinto to star in ‘Boy At the Back of the Class’ adaptation

LOS ANGELES: Indian actor Frieda Pinto and British cinema veteran Vanessa Redgrave have boarded the forged of the household film ‘The Boy on the Back of the Class’, based mostly on the acclaimed kids’s ebook.

According to leisure web site Variety, Stephen Herek is directing the film.

The story facilities on a mysterious boy known as Ahmet who joins nine-year-old Alexa’s faculty.

As Alexa learns that he’s a refugee, separated from his household, she is going to do something she will be able to to assist.

With the adults out of the best way, Alexa and her faculty mates give you a daring plan to reunite Ahmet along with his household — the beginning of an journey that may take all of them the best way to Buckingham Palace, the official plotline reads.

The film is penned by screenwriter Tim John.

Adam Rolston and David Braithwaite of Studio Pictures are producing the challenge with Nicola Pearcey of Picnik Entertainment and Paul Grindey govt producing.
