Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie solid in Netflix’s ‘The Sandman’ collection

LOS ANGELES: Netflix has unveiled a star-studded solid for its adaptation of creator Neil Gaiman’s comedian e book collection “The Sandman”. English actor Tom Sturridge will lead the collection together with “Game of Thrones” alum Gwendoline Christie, veteran actor Charles Dance and “Narcos” star Boyd Holbrook.

Vivienne Acheampong and Indian-origin actors Asim Chaudhry and Sanjeev Bhaskar spherical out the solid, Netflix introduced in a submit on Twitter. It follows the folks and locations affected by Morpheus (Sturridge), the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic – and human – errors he is made throughout his huge existence.

Christie will essay the function of Lucifer, ruler of Hell, whereas Holbrook will play The Corinthian, an escaped nightmare who needs to style all that the world has in retailer. Dance has been solid as Roderick Burgess, a Charlatan, blackmailer and magician.

“For the last 33 years, the ‘Sandman’ characters have breathed and walked around and talked in my head. I’m unbelievably happy that now, finally, they get to step out of my head and into reality. I can’t wait until the people out there get to see what we’ve been seeing as Dream and the rest of them take flesh, and the flesh belongs to some of the finest actors out there,” Gaiman stated in an announcement, obtained by Variety.

The creator will co-write the collection with Allan Heinberg, who can be set to function showrunner. Warner Bros. Television is the studio with Gaiman, Heinberg and David S Goyer as the chief producers.
