Talking about Tandav, Sunil Grover informed indianexpress.com, “I am happy and feeling lucky to be a part of this beautiful show. The subject is a serious one, but the drama of the show is what makes it more relatable. I had worked with Mr Ali Abbas Zafar earlier in Bharat, after that he called me for this role. I read the script and felt excited about it, it is a new world. The most difficult part for me was to stay still. My character is a very rigid, still guy, in terms of his posture.”
He added, “Saif Ali Khan is such a passionate, dedicated actor. Despite having so much experience, he treated the show as if it was his first project. So I never felt like I was working with a ‘senior’ actor who had seen so many phases of the industry in his career.”
