Stellan Skarsgard, Andrea Riseborough to steer ‘What Remains’ film

LOS ANGELES: “Dune” actor Stellan Skarsgard and British star Andrea Riseborough are set to star within the upcoming psychological drama “What Remains”.

Also starring Skarsgard’s son Gustaf Skarsgard, the film marks the English-language directorial debut of Chinese filmmaker Huang Ran.

According to Variety, the movie has a script from Megan Everett Skarsgard, the spouse of Stellan Skarsgard. The plot particulars have been stored underneath wraps.

The venture might be produced by Film Service Finland and Huang by his manufacturing firm Fake Action Truth, with financing from iQIYI, a number one video streaming platform in China.

Stellan Skarsgard most not too long ago starred as Baron Vladimir Harkonnen in filmmaker Denis Villeneuve’s epic “Dune”.

He is predicted to reprise the half within the movie’s sequel.
