Spirited teaser: Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell give a pleasant spin to A Christmas Carol

Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell promise one more interpretation of the Victorian novel, A Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens. In this light-hearted musical, Reynolds performs the position of Clint Briggs, a variation of Dickens’ Scrooge, whereas Ferrell takes on the position of the ghost of Christmas Present. However, there’s a pleasant twist because the movie spins the novel on its head and examines the story from the attitude of the ghosts as an alternative. So, we see Briggs wanting on the ghost’s previous, current and future.

Other forged members within the musical ensemble embody Octavia Spencer, Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Loren Woods, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley and Jen Tullock. Produced by Maximum Effort and Gloria Sanchez Productions, the upcoming Apple TV Plus unique function has been co-written by Sean Anders and John Morris.
