Director Anu Menon and manufacturing home Abundantia Entertainment are set to reunite for a homicide thriller after Vidya Balan-starrer Shakuntala Devi, the makers mentioned on Monday.
According to a press launch, the movie is within the closing phases of screenplay, with principal images anticipated to start in April-May 2021.
Menon mentioned she had a good time working with Abundantia Entertainment on Shakuntala Devi and is comfortable to have joined arms with the banner for her new film.
“Their passion for telling compelling stories and commitment to a director’s vision are rare to find. We have a very different story coming up this time round and I hope we receive the same love from the audience as we did for our first collaboration together,” the director mentioned in an announcement.

Vikram Malhotra, founder and CEO, Abundantia Entertainment mentioned Menon has a novel fashion of storytelling which is in sync with the corporate’s imaginative and prescient.
“… Her stories are underpinned with strong women characters that fit in well with Abundantia’s vision of telling impactful stories. I’m confident that together, Anu and Abundantia will delight the audience yet again,” Malhotra added.

Abundantia Entertainment can be teaming up with Balan on a separate movie, Sherni.
The manufacturing home not too long ago introduced their affiliation with Crypt TV for his or her first movie collectively, Chhori, that includes Nushrat Bharucha. The mission is the Hindi remake of the hit Marathi horror movie Lapachhapi.
