Sex and the City revival will sort out COVID-19 pandemic: Sarah Jessica Parker

Actor Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that coronavirus pandemic will “obviously be part of the storyline” of the upcoming Sex and the City revival.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jessica Parker stated she is hopeful that the writers of the present will contact upon COVID-19 and its results on the lead characters’ friendship.
“(COVID-19 will) obviously be part of the storyline, because that’s the city (these characters) live in. And how has that changed relationships once friends disappear? I have great faith that the writers are going to examine it all.”
The new 10-episode restricted sequence relies on the e book, Sex and the City, by Candice Bushnell and the unique TV sequence created by Darren Star.
Jessica Parker, Nixon and Davis may even function government producers, together with Michael Patrick King, the producer of the unique sequence and the Sex and the City movies.
The 55-year-old actor stated she and her co-stars are excited to see how the three characters have grown with time.
“I believe that Cynthia, Kristin and I are all excited in regards to the time that has handed. You know, who’re they on this world now? Have they tailored? What half have they performed?
“Where have they fallen short as women, as friends, and how are they finding their way? Did they move with momentum? Are they like some people who are confused, threatened, nervous (by what’s happening in the world)? I’m so curious and excited to see how the writers imagine these women today,” she stated.
Sex and the City ran for six seasons and 94 episodes between 1998 and 2004 and was adopted by two function movies in 2008 and 2010. A 3rd film was additionally introduced however by no means progressed.
