Actress Sayani Gupta, whose brief movie Shameless is making an attempt to safe an Oscars entry, says this type of filmmaking has all the time been revolutionary in nature. “Short-films have always been revolutionary by nature. The majority of subjects that directors address through a short-film are socially inept,” she says.
About her movie, Sayani provides: “Shameless talks about a universal emotion that we all can relate to and we hope our efforts to present this issue will reach out to the audience across the globe,” she says.
She claims the movie has been well-received to date. “It is great to experience the love showered on our film from so many talented people in the industry. Film celebs across the nation have come forward to support the film,” the actress says.
Earlier, dropping the information on her social media, Sayani wrote “Sharing a jolt of kindness with the world. Presenting the #ShamelessTrailer! #SHAMELESSlyKind #Oscars2021 #Shameless.”

Before being certified for Oscar consideration in Short Film class, Shameless was a finalist on the lately concluded third version of the Best of India Short Film Festival 2020 and in addition it premiered on the New York Indian Film Festival. On the opposite hand, Hussian Dalal gained Best Actor on the Filmfare Short Film Awards (2019).
 
 
Starring Sayani Gupta and Hussain Dalal, Shameless is directed by Keith Gomes. Presented by Shabinaa Khan, the short-film is produced by her together with Keith Gomes, Ashley Gomes, and National Award-winner Sandeep Kamal. It is co-produced by Girish Talwar whereas the sound for the movie is designed by Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty.
