Roohi Box Office Collection Day 2: Janhvi, Rajkummar’s horror-comedy movie witnesses regular drop

Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor starrer horror-comedy movie Roohi has managed to carry the viewers to the cinema halls. The movie is the primary mainstream film to hit the theaters this 12 months within the post-Covid time. The first day assortment of the movie impressed the commerce analyst and it continued its attraction on Day 2 as properly. After garnering Rs 3.06 crores on its opening day, the movie managed to earn Rs 2 crore on Day 2. According to the report in Box Office India, Roohi witnessed a standard drop and earned round Rs 1.75-2 cr. This makes its two days assortment as Rs 4.50-4.75 crore nett.

Revealing the Day 1 field workplace numbers, Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Roohi springs a pleasant surprise on Day 1, despite #Covid pandemic… #MahaShivratri holiday proves advantageous… National multiplexes contribute maximum [approx ₹ 1.89 cr], while Tier-2 cities show decent footfalls… Thu ₹ 3.06 cr. #India biz.”

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and directed by Hardik Mehta, the horror-comedy hit the screens on March 11. In the movie, Janhvi Kapoor performs a personality that’s possessed by a ghost. She needed to bear “multiple look tests” to good her look for the function. The director revealed, “We did multiple look tests to arrive at a combination of prosthetics and VFX to create the look for Janhvi. What really surprised me was the switch that Janhvi would make as soon as prosthetics would come into play, and her whole body language and voice would change to that of her witch character.”
