Ricky Martin to star in Apple TV+ comedy sequence ‘Mrs American Pie’

LOS ANGELES: Pop star-actor Ricky Martin is ready to steer “Mrs American Pie”, a interval comedy sequence from streaming platform Apple TV+.

Martin joins beforehand introduced solid members Kristen Wiig and Alison Janney within the sequence government produced by Laura Dern. According to Deadline, the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” hitmaker will play the male lead, Robert in “Mrs American Pie”.

Based on the novel by Juliet McDaniel, “Mrs America Pie” follows Maxine Simmons (Wiig), a lady trying to safe her seat at America’s most unique desk: Palm Beach excessive society.

Abe Sylvia, recognized for the upcoming “George & Tammy” sequence starring Jessica Chastain, will write, government produce and present run the sequence.

The sequence was developed by Dern and her producing companion Jayme Lemons below their banner Jaywalker Pictures.

Martin, who is ready to carry out on the American Foundation for Aids Research gala in Cannes later this week, was final seen taking part in Antonio D’Amico in Ryan Murphy’s critically-acclaimed FX drama “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” as a part of the ‘American Crime’ story anthology.
