Netflix’s Bridgerton renewed for second season

Shonda Rhimes’s interval drama Bridgerton, starring Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page, is returning for a second season, Netflix introduced Thursday. The streaming large made the announcement with a brief clip, that includes scenes from the primary season, that concluded with the caption “Second 2 is coming.”
Created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes, Bridgerton is predicated on Julia Quinn’s novels set within the aggressive world of Regency period London’s Ton through the season, when debutantes are introduced at courtroom. The first season that arrived in December 2020 is eight-episode lengthy.
