Nat Geo India pronounces new programming ‘Spotlight’, to showcase big range of documentaries

MUMBAI: National Geographic India on Wednesday unveiled its model new programming “Spotlight”, presenting documentaries from everywhere in the world and from celebrated Hollywood names similar to Ron Howard, James Cameron and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The programming will kick begin from January 23 with a brand new documentary making its premiere on National Geographic each Saturday, the channel stated in a press release.

The line-up movies embody documentaries similar to “Rebuilding Paradise”, “The Cave”, “The Last Ice” and “The Virus Hunters”.

The movies will chronicle thought-provoking topics — from girls empowerment and environmental points to political disruption.

“With ‘Spotlight’, we’re bringing the very best of National Geographic tales that can push the boundaries of information and understanding of our world by way of the sweetness and energy of filmmaking.

Working with world class inventive expertise and movie makers from the world over.
