MGM hires Misha Green to direct ‘Tomb Raider 2’

LOS ANGELES: MGM has employed “Lovecraft Country” creator Misha Green to helm the sequel to Alicia Vikander’s ‘Tomb Raider 2″.
The film, a sequel to Vikander’s 2018 action-adventure film, will mark Green characteristic directorial debut, reported Variety.
Green can even pen the movie’s script. Vikander had performed the function of protagonist Lara Croft within the Roar Uthaug-directed first half.
The film, penned by “Captain Marvel” scribe Geneva Robertson-Dworet, raked in over USD 270 million on the international field workplace.
