Apple TV + has introduced the renewal of its comedy sequence Loot for the second season. Featuring Maya Rudolph, the sequence is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Loot is created, written and government produced by Yang and Hubbard. According to the streaming platform, the synopsis reads, “Billionaire Molly Novak (Rudolph) has a dream life, full with personal jets, a sprawling mansion and a Giga yacht — something her coronary heart wishes.

But when her husband of 20 years betrays her, she spirals publicly, changing into gas for tabloid fodder. She’s reaching all-time low when she learns, to her shock, that she has a charity basis run by the no-nonsense Sofia Salinas (Rodriguez), who pleads with Molly to cease producing unhealthy press.

With her devoted assistant Nicholas (Kim Booster) by her aspect, and with the assistance of Sofia and the group — together with mild-mannered accountant Arthur (Faxon) and her optimistic, pop-culture-loving cousin Howard (Funches) — Molly embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Giving again to others is likely to be what she must get again to herself.”
