Lil Yachty to develop live-action film based mostly on card sport UNO

Rapper Lil Yachty is growing a live-action adaptation of Uno in collaboration with Mattel, the cardboard sport’s proprietor.

The live-action heist comedy might be produced by Yachty together with the toy manufacture’s film manufacturing firm, Mattel Films.

The movie might be set within the underground hip-hop scene of Atlanta—the 23-year-old rapper’s native metropolis. Marcy Kelly has penned the screenplay, and Yachty is being eyed for the lead position.

“I’m so excited to be part of this film with Mattel. I played Uno as a kid and still do today, so to spin that into a movie based on the Atlanta hip hop scene I came out of is really special. It hits close to home for me,” the musician stated in an announcement.Quality Control’s Kevin ‘Coach K’ Lee, Pierre ‘P’ Thomas, and Brian Sher are additionally on board as producers.
