KJ Apa to play lead in bike racing movie

KJ Apa, who’s greatest identified for taking part in Archie Andrews within the CW’s thriller drama Riverdale, and likewise been a part of The Hate U Give, The Last Summer, I Still Believe, A Dog’s Purpose, and Songbird has been roped in to play the lead within the bike racing movie One Fast Move. Written and directed by multi-hyphenate Kelly Blatz, the manufacturing will start in Atlanta later this June.

Gulfstream Pictures’ upcoming movie tells the story of an ex-soldier (Apa) trying to find his estranged father for help in pursuing his dream to race Supersport bikes. During his coaching, he comes throughout a small-town aspiring singer who begins to interrupt by way of the boundaries his father’s absence had created.

Apa will likely be reuniting with Gulfstream following the 2019 romantic comedy The Last Summer. Gulfstream Pictures’ Mike Karz and Bill Bindley are producing with Matt Luber and Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment.
