“I am lucky I have been patient for good roles. Today I feel more fortunate that people have started considering me in a lead role and think I can pull off a film or a series,” he additional mentioned.

The actor’s newest launch is Nail Polish, a courtroom thriller drama, wherein he stars as Veer Singh, a person embroiled within the allegation of homicide of youngsters.
Kaul mentioned when director Bugs Bhargava Krishna narrated the script to him over a Zoom name through the coronavirus-induced lockdown, he thought he wouldn’t have the ability to pull off such a “layered” character.

“The script was beautiful. But I felt it was extremely powerful and thought I received’t have the ability to do it. I simply didn’t know the way to carry out it. (But) Bugs had full religion in me. So once we began the rehearsals, I saved studying the script which was so properly researched.
“I asked a lot of questions about my character and kept talking about him with my director to truly understand him. In the end, it worked. This (project) was something that I was craving for,” he added.
