‘Good Omens 2’ begins manufacturing in Scotland

MUMBAI: Production has begun in Scotland on the second season of the Amazon Original sequence “Good Omens”, starring award-winning actors Michael Sheen and David Tennant, who return within the main roles of the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley.

Supporting Sheen and Tennant are lots of the key solid from the primary season, who return for the season with some reprising their roles, and others enjoying new characters.

A premiere date shall be introduced later.

Originally based mostly on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s worldwide best-selling novel, the brand new season will discover storylines that transcend the unique supply materials to light up the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and uncommon e-book supplier, and the fast-living demon Crowley.

Our team is being enriched with new talent on both sides of the camera so I am excited to be at the helm for six more episodes of what we hope will be heavenly entertainment,” co-showrunner and director Douglas Mackinnon stated.

The new season is produced by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation, and Narrativia.

Gaiman continues as government producer and can co-showrun together with government producer Mackinnon, who may also return to direct.

Rob Wilkins of Narrativia, representing Pratchett’s property, John Finnemore, and BBC Studios Productions’ head of comedy Josh Cole may also government produce, with Finnemore serving as co-writer alongside Gaiman.
