‘Dune’ sequel formally greenlit, to be launched in 2023

LOS ANGELES: Filmmaker Denis Villeneuve is returning to direct the half two of his “Dune” collection as Legendary and Warner Bros introduced the sequel that will probably be launched theatrically on October 20, 2023.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, lead star Timothee Chalamet will even reprise his function of Paul Atreides for the follow-up, primarily based on creator Frank Herbert in his 1965 traditional novel “Dune”.
