Chadwick Boseman’s ‘Black Panther’ character will not be recast by Marvel

LOS ANGELES: Late Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman’s King T’Challa/Black Panther won’t ever be recast by Marvel following his tragic dying, the studio’s VP of Development Nate Moore has confirmed.

Moore advised The Ringer-verse Podcast: “I’m being quite honest, you will not see T’Challa in the MCU.”

Moore revealed that he had mentioned potential casting choices with Ryan Coogler, who’s returning to direct ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, however the pair finally determined that they “couldn’t do it” with out Boseman, stories femalefirst.co.uk.

He shared: “We have to determine how you can transfer this franchise on with out that character. Because I feel all of us really feel a lot of T’Challa within the MCU on the display… is tied to Chadwick’s efficiency.

“I’m trying to find a work-life balance. But I’m not there yet, so this is without question the hardest thing I’ve had to do in my professional life.”
